Our vision: digital Islamic social finance, from giving to impact.

We're building one connected journey for institutions, from the moment someone gives to the moment a programme can show what that giving achieved.

Giving and payments run on Tulus today. Fund administration, distribution and impact reporting are what we're working toward next, and we'd like to shape them with the institutions that will use them.

Six capabilities, one journey we're building

Giving and Pay are in use today. The others are on our roadmap, and we'll say so here once each one is running with an institution.

Giving

Make giving easy

Contributors pay zakat and give to participating institutions through the Tulus app, and can print their receipts on this website.

Pay

Payments with records you can reconcile

FPX, DuitNow, card and e-wallet payments, each with a transaction confirmation and a receipt, and settlement records for the institution.

Manage

Fund administration

We want to help institutions keep track of fund purposes, restrictions, approvals and access in one place.

Distribute

Programme delivery

We plan to support assessment, allocation and delivery workflows, with eligibility and funding decisions staying with the institution.

Impact

Reporting on outcomes

Our aim is to connect programme activity and its supporting records to the reports institutions and contributors want to see.

Connect

Links with banks, agencies and your systems

Tulus already runs inside a digital bank's app and is integrated with zakat collection agencies, sending signed payment notifications to their systems. Links to fund administration and reporting systems are on our roadmap.

Start with what runs today

Most institutions begin with digital collection: the Tulus app, payment channels and receipts. As fund administration, distribution and reporting come together, we'll work with partner institutions to extend the journey at a pace that suits their processes.

The scope for each institution depends on its processes and readiness, and we agree it together before we begin.

A practical path to implementation

  1. Understand: Review your current process, participating institutions and intended outcomes.

  2. Define: Agree the service scope, integrations, responsibilities and commercial arrangements.

  3. Validate: Test the journey, payment records, support processes and reporting arrangements.

  4. Introduce: Launch the agreed scope and learn from how it is used.
