Ready-to-use digital solutions for your organisation.

Tulus gives institutions a mobile app for field collectors (amil), QR payments for each collector, a live collection dashboard, a planner for field visits and a registry of beneficiary addresses.

Each works on its own or together, and connects to the collection system your institution already uses.

Collector mobile app

Collectors handle the whole collection on their phone, on Android and iOS, wherever they are: no paper ledgers, no handwritten receipts.

Secure activation

Each collector's app is activated with a one-time code sent by WhatsApp and protected by an activation code.

ID card scanning

OCR reads the payer's identity card, so details are filled in within seconds instead of typed by hand.

Instant digital receipts

Receipts go to the payer by WhatsApp and email as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Daily settlement

Built-in end-of-day settlement with bank slip upload, and collection limits that your institution sets.

Roles and zakat types

Access for each level of collector, with permissions for the zakat types you offer, such as zakat fitrah, zakat harta and zakat padi.

Sync with your system

Payments sync automatically to your institution's collection system.

Collector QR payments

Every collector has their own QR code and a link they can share on social media. Payers pay online, and the collector still gets the credit.

A QR code for every collector

Unique to each collector, with a shareable link and landing pages for each type of zakat.

Online or cash

Payers pay by FPX or DuitNow QR, for individuals and businesses alike. Collectors can still take cash.

Payers can check the collector

The collector's details appear on the payment page, so the public can verify who they are paying.

Commission handled for you

Each payment is split automatically between your institution's account and the collector's commission, at the rate you set, through virtual accounts. Collectors can see what they've earned.

How a collection works

  1. The collector signs in to the app.

  2. The payer scans the collector's QR code and fills in a one-page form, or the collector enters the payer's details and amount.

  3. The payer pays by FPX or DuitNow QR, or hands over cash.

  4. The payment is split between your institution's account and the collector's commission.

  5. Payer and collector are notified, and the receipt goes out by WhatsApp or email.

  6. The payment syncs to your collection system and shows on the dashboard.

Collection dashboard

See collections as they happen, not at the end of the week.

Cash and online, side by side

Collections and commission broken down by cash and online payment.

Transactions by date

Every transaction listed by date, with live tracking of what each collector has taken.

Settlement at a glance

Daily settlement status, so cash handling is reconciled every day.

Workforce Management and GeoPlanner

For institutions whose officers visit businesses and payers: plan appointments, visits and follow-ups, and see all field activity in one place.

For managers

GeoPlanner

Draw areas on the map to assign business blocks to teams. Heat maps show where visits happen and where the opportunities are.

Scheduling and assignment

A calendar for team schedules, visits assigned one by one or in bulk, and leave and delegation handled in the same place.

Real-time tracking

A live map of where officers are, with each visit's status as it changes.

Executive dashboard

Daily activity, collections by district, consultation status, and expected against actual collections.

Access by role

Sign-in through your organisation's directory, with separate views for executives, supervisors and call-centre agents.

Telemarketing

Book appointments on behalf of field teams, and follow conversion and campaigns.

For field officers

  • A personal dashboard with collection targets

  • Daily, weekly and monthly visit lists

  • Business information and zakat payment history

Beneficiary Address Management and Geocoding

Tulus Beneficiary Registry

A register of your institution's own beneficiaries and the places your programmes work with: asnaf homes, contributor and business addresses, masjid, surau, orphanages, collection points and delivery locations. Built on MyAlamat, our Address Registry, it helps your teams structure each address, place it on the map and review uncertain locations before anyone goes out to the field.

Asnaf and household locations

Place recorded home addresses on the map for assessment visits and assistance delivery, with a quality label for each, so authorised officers can confirm the location. Home, correspondence and delivery addresses can be kept apart where needed.

Community and stakeholder locations

Map participating organisations, contributors, business premises, collection points and programme locations, each linked to your institution's record and its role in the programme.

Structured addresses and corrections

Addresses in Bahasa Malaysia or English are split into their parts, and suggested corrections are shown for someone to confirm. The original entry is kept alongside the accepted one.

Matching with officer review

Two addresses are compared and possible records for the same place are flagged. Officers decide whether to link or correct them. Several asnaf can share an address, so a matching address on its own doesn't mean a duplicate person.

Connected field visits

Reviewed locations go to Workforce Management and GeoPlanner for assigning, scheduling and following up visits. Corrections made in the field come back to your institution for review.

District coverage and record quality

Use the state and district returned for each address to organise records and see programme activity. Confirmed locations are kept apart from uncertain ones, and records that need follow-up are highlighted.

How it works

  1. Enter or import the address.

  2. It's split into its parts and corrected, and the original entry is kept.

  3. The address is placed on the map with a quality label.

  4. A staff member confirms the location, or sends an uncertain one for review.

  5. The confirmed location is linked to your institution's record.

  6. A visit or delivery is assigned through GeoPlanner.

  7. The outcome and any address correction are recorded.

Your institution stays in charge

Each institution runs its own registry, with its own records, users and service areas. Asnaf eligibility, programme approval and funding decisions stay with your institution, and individual and household locations are open only to the users it authorises. Any public view needs your approval, and shows only approved organisation locations or summary figures.
